The following scholarships are available through the Mediapolis Education Foundation:

Mediapolis Education Foundation – Two seniors at Mediapolis High School planning to continue their education at the post-secondary level. $1,000.00 for each Senior

Mediapolis Education Foundation – Two seniors at Mediapaolis Community High School. Qualifications include: plan to attend a community college or technical school and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Special consideration may be given to students who have participated in Career Technical Education courses through MCSD. $1,000.00 for each Senior

Geraldine Wickhart Scholarship – Awarded to two MCSD graduate who has a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and plans to enroll at a post-secondary institution pursuing a career in nursing. $1,000 for each senior

Sharon K. (Brown) Saurini ScholarshipAwarded to a MCSD graduate who plans to enroll in a Major/Minor degree consistent with a future course of Graduate study in the College of Veterinary Medicine. $2,500/year; possibly renewable annually during undergrad course of study

MTC Technologies – Students or parents must be a subscriber of MTC Technologies and have a GPA of 2.5 or better after 7 semesters. (Two to be awarded) $1,000.00

Dr. W. L. & Grace Stewart – Must be a Mediapolis graduate with average or better academic ability. Preference given to business majors. $250.00

Diane Sue Petersen Memorial – Awarded to a female student who is interested in a business career. $250.00

Theresa Carroll Scholarship – Recipient must be in the upper 25% of the class. Also, financial need.   $250.00

Luckenbill Family Memorial – Mediapolis senior with financial need who shows academic potential and who has been active in bettering their community and school.   Preference given to a student who has been active in the music program. (One awarded each year).

Post Graduate Scholarships

Sharon K. (Brown) Saurini Graduate ScholarshipAwarded to a MCSD graduate who is accepted and enrolled and in good standing in the College of Veterinary Science, with the intent of pursuing a career as a veterinarian. Preference given to female students, although any eligible student is encouraged to apply. To apply please see electronic application on the Contact Page of the MEF Website. Amount: Up to $10,000 annually for up to four years.

Scholarship Night will be on May 18, 2020, at 7:00 PM in the MCSD Auditorium
